Terms of Service

These terms are between you and registered entity name, registered at registered address(“Oratora”, “we”).

They apply to organizers — anyone with an account who creates events or forms. Participants who simply join an event with a room code are not required to hold an account and are bound only by the acceptable-use rules in §6.

Oratora lets you run live sessions — polls, quizzes, word clouds, Q&A, ratings, open-ended questions, spin wheels and social walls — that your audience joins from any browser, and to publish the same question types as async forms. Results render on a shared screen and on each participant’s device.

We may change, add or remove features. If we remove something material to a paid plan you are on, §4 applies.

You must give accurate details and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for everything done under your account, including by your team and by any API key or integration token you issue.

You must be at least minimum age to hold an account.

Oratora is sold two ways, and they behave differently:

• Single-event pass — a one-time purchase covering one event window of pass validity window. It is not a subscription and does not renew.
• Pro subscription — a recurring plan billed monthly / annually until cancelled.
• Free — available with reduced participant caps and features.

Current prices are shown on the pricing page and are exclusive of taxes unless stated. We bill in Indian rupees (₹) and US dollars ($); the pricing page lets you switch between them, and you are charged in the currency shown at checkout. Your bank or card issuer may apply its own conversion or cross-border fees, which are not set by us. Payments are processed by Razorpay; we do not receive or store your full card details.

Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your billing settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period.

We may change prices with notice period notice for renewals. Refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Plans carry limits — participant caps, feature entitlements and usage allowances. If you exceed them we may ask you to upgrade or may limit the affected feature.

You own your content. Questions, form definitions, branding and the responses collected in your events remain yours. We claim no ownership.

You grant us a licence to host, process, transmit and display that content solely to provide the service to you — including sending response content to our AI provider when you enable the mood meter or summaries (see the Privacy Policy, §5).

You are responsible for what you ask your audience. You decide the questions, whether responses are anonymous, and what you do with the results. Where responses contain personal data you are the controller and we are your processor. You must have a lawful basis for collecting them and must tell participants what you are collecting and why — particularly before enabling AI features.

You must not use Oratora to:

• break the law, or infringe anyone’s rights;
• collect sensitive personal data — health, biometric, financial, political or similar — without a lawful basis and appropriate consent;
• post or solicit content that is harassing, hateful, defamatory, sexually explicit or promotes violence;
• impersonate anyone, or misrepresent affiliation;
• probe, scrape, overload or interfere with the service, or bypass participant caps, rate limits or entitlement checks;
• resell or white-label the service except under a written agreement with us.

Social walls and Q&A are moderated by you. If you enable them you are responsible for what you approve onto a screen.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach this section, and remove content that does — with notice where practical, immediately where the risk is serious.

If you use our API, MCP server or the Claude, Zoom, Teams, Google Slides or PowerPoint integrations, you must keep credentials secret, stay within published rate limits, and accept that we may change or deprecate endpoints with reasonable notice.

Connecting a third-party service sends data to it under its own terms. We are not responsible for what that service does with it.

We work hard to keep live sessions up, but we do not promise uninterrupted service unless a separate written SLA says so. We may take the service down for maintenance.

The Oratora software, brand, name and marks are ours. These terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service — nothing more. You may not copy, reverse-engineer or create derivative works from it.

If you send us feedback, we may use it without obligation to you.

You may stop using Oratora and close your account at any time. We may terminate or suspend for material breach, non-payment, or where required by law.

On termination your right to use the service ends. Export your data first — after post-termination retention window we may delete it permanently.

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

AI output is not advice. Mood readings and summaries are generated automatically, can be wrong, and should not be relied on as the sole basis for a decision. Review them before acting.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited — including death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, revenue, goodwill or data. Our total aggregate liability is capped at liability cap, e.g. amounts paid in the preceding 12 months.

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content, your events, your use of the service in breach of these terms, or your failure to meet your own data protection obligations to your participants.

These terms are governed by the laws of governing law, and the courts of jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction.

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and for material changes we will notify account holders. Continuing to use Oratora after a change means you accept it.
